Course 2: Rhythm

The First Riding Necessity

A 3-day course focusing on

helping horse and rider develop and feel rhythm.

  • Content discussed in a classroom setting and later applied during group and individual lessons. Course booklets containing articles and presentation materials provided.

  • Teaching materials range from articles, discussions, PowerPoint and videos focusing on human and horse biomechanics and movement.

"Jillian is truly second-to-none, and a gift to the horse world. Her teaching style is both encouraging and approachable, making complex topics easy to understand. I have not felt this level of "community" in a clinic for a while until attending Jillian's biomechanics course. She really cultivates a positive atmosphere.

I look at all horses a little differently now, and look forward to learning as much as I can from Jillian. She is a steward to the horse with so much knowledge and feel. Everyone who has horses should learn from Jillian and take her courses!"
