with Jillian Kreinbring

How it works:

  1. Download the Zoom App on your smartphone.

  2. Create a Zoom account from your smartphone.

  3. You will need a quality cellular or Wi-Fi connection where you will be riding.

  4. You need a headset that connects to your phone.

    1. Wired headset is fine if you wear your device for the lesson.

    2. or you can use a Bluetooth connection, but we still recommend wearing your phone for the lesson.

  5. A helper to film your ride is ideal but there are automatic tripod systems designed to follow you.

    1. Your helper can log in to the meeting separately and provide the visual so that you may wear your device for audio.

  6. Bring a bit of patience and extra time, in the beginning, to allow yourself to get accustomed to the Zoom lesson format.

    1. Our team is standing by to prepare you before your lesson start time.

    2. We recommend joining the meeting 5-10 minutes early so you can start on time.

    3. Questions are welcome but must be within the 45-min session.

Visual Suggestions

  • The camera person will capture you best by standing in the middle of the arena, tracking your movement, and holding the camera as still as possible to avoid vibration.

  • Be aware of glare from the sun or shadows.

  • Take a few minutes to be sure that Jillian has a good view.

  • Horse should have contrasting equipment such as saddle pad and boots/wraps

  • Rider should wear contrasting clothing
